Arrested National People's Power (NPP) Parliamentarian Chandana Sooriyaarachchi, has been granted bail. The Homagama Magistrate’s Court ordered his release on a personal bail of Rs. 100,000.
He was arrested by the Athurugiriya Police in connection with a road accident that occurred in the Panagoda area last night (Oct. 07).

National People’s Power (NPP) Colombo District MP Chandana Sooriyaarachchi has been arrested by the Athurugiriya Police.
Police said he was arrested in connection with a road accident that occurred in the Panagoda area last night (Oct. 07).
