The Chief Sangha Nayake of Great Britain and Head Monk of the London Buddhist Vihara who was in Sri Lanka this week was presented with the pictorial publication published by the Anagarika Dharmapala Trust to commemorate the centenary of the Vihara and the British Maha Bodhi Society.

The London Buddhist Vihara was established in 1926 by Anagarika Dharmapala. It was the first Buddhist temple in the United Kingdom with Sri Lankan monks in residence.

Chairman of the Trust Sudhammika Hewavitarne is seen handing over the first copy of the 180 page coffee table book. Also in the picture are Devin Jinadasa, script writer and Chintha Manori, design editor.
