Dialog Axiata PLC has taken a significant step forward in Sri Lanka’s digital advancement by launching Dialog 5G Ultra commercially. This marks a major milestone in the country’s digital evolution and its transition into the 5G era. Dialog’s 5G network , supported by over 220 active 5G sites, serves more than 1.5 million subscribers and is the first to offer commercial 5G services in Sri Lanka, highlighting its leadership in next-generation connectivity nationwide. The commercial launch follows Dialog’s acquisition of a 100 MHz block in the 3500 MHz band and a 200 MHz block in the 27 GHz band during the 5G spectrum auction held by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL).
