Colombo, Nov. 4 (Daily Mirror) - The government should learn a lesson from the US midterm elections, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament today.

"The people of the USA have rejected the Trump administration because of the suffering they had to undergo. The people of Sri Lanka are also suffering. The government should take note of this situation," Premadasa said.

He also urged the government to hold the Provincial Council elections.

"Hold the Provincial Council elections and see the reaction of the people," he said.
