The Indian and Sri Lankan Navy bands will hold a joint musical performance at Galle Face Green in Colombo on Tuesday, October 27, as part of the visit of Indian naval ships to Sri Lanka.
According to the Indian High Commission in Colombo, the event will begin at 5 p.m. and feature a joint performance by musicians from the two navies.
The performance is being organised to mark the visit of the Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron (1TS), comprising INS Tir, INS Sujata and Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Sarathi, to Colombo.
The Indian High Commission has invited members of the public to attend the event, describing it as an evening of music and camaraderie.
The joint performance will provide an opportunity for the public to witness musical presentations by the naval bands of both countries. (Newswire)
