Sri Lankan cricket great Sanath Jayasuriya and former national captain Upul Tharanga attended the opening of the new Senaro Premier Center at Jubilee Post, Nugegoda, as the locally owned motorcycle brand continues to expand its presence in Sri Lanka.
Senaro Managing Director Roshana Waduge joined Jayasuriya and Tharanga at the opening of the new facility on Mirihana Road.
Senaro is a 100% Sri Lankan-owned motorcycle brand competing in the domestic market alongside international brands.
According to the company, more than 30% local value addition is incorporated into its assembly and production processes, while its operations generate direct and indirect employment opportunities across the country.
The Senaro GN 125, the company’s first locally assembled motorcycle, has become the best-selling locally assembled motorcycle model in Sri Lanka, according to the company.
The opening of the new Premier Center forms part of Senaro’s efforts to expand its sales and service network while increasing its presence in Sri Lanka’s motorcycle industry. (Newswire)
