3Boxmedia International Sales is bringing a selection of seven new Spanish documentary productions to MIPCOM 2026, alongside a diverse lineup of international titles spanning current affairs, nature, science, travel, and design. Headlining the Spanish delegation are four 4K wildlife films, including the European Wildlife Awards nominee "The Colossus of the Tundra," which has already been acquired by Norwegian public broadcaster NRK . The title (1x48’, 1080 Wildlife Productions), is a blue-chip documentary focusing on the musk ox in Norway.

The distributor is also offering "Coiba. The Wild Treasure Island" (1x50’, DocuProducciones), which explores a modern Noah’s Ark off the coast of Panama; "Strait of Gibraltar. Nature in Transit" (1x52’), directed by Antonio Marquez, showcasing one of the planet’s most remarkable biological corridors; and "The Imperial Zebra" (1x48’, Planet Alive Films), following one of Africa’s most endangered large mammals.

Rounding out the new Spanish lineup are "Rural Paradises" (6x26’, Orange Productions) , a travel series revealing spectacular rural landscapes in remote corners of Oman, the Cook Islands, and Sri Lanka; "At the Top. Catalan Towers" (1x52’, Punt TV), offering an immersive look into Catalonia's human tower tradition; and "Children of Uno" ( 1x53’), directed by Raúl Bueno, which explores a fascinating, isolated culture off the coast of Guinea-Bissau.

3Boxmedia's slate for MIPCOM 2026 is completed by international acquisitions from Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Italy, and Chile. Notable non-Spanish highlights include "World Best Design Bars + Restaurants" (5x26’), co-produced by Germany's Prounen Film with BR and ARTE, which journeys around the world to venues where architecture and hospitality meet; "Inferno: Climate Crisis in the Mediterranean" (1x53’), examining environmental challenges in the world's second fastest-warming region; "The Lost Coast of the Ice Age" (1x50’, Cabala Films), revealing 20,000-year-old remains of extinct animals in Chile; and "Zero Emissions Guy" (1x52’, Small Boss), which investigates whether individual actions can reverse climate change.
