The Sri Lanka Navy showcases its engineering excellence and technological innovations at TECHNO 2026, an engineering and technology exhibition organised by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), from 16 to 18 October at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

Held under the theme “Engineering for a Resilient Nation”, the exhibition provides a platform for engineering professionals, industry representatives, academic institutions and technology innovators to present advances in engineering and technology.

The Navy’s participation highlights the potential contribution of its engineering expertise and technological capabilities to Sri Lanka’s national technological development. It also provides opportunities for the Navy to exchange knowledge and experience with engineering professionals, supporting the development of skills, research and innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies.

The exhibition also serves as a platform for knowledge-sharing between engineering professionals in the defence and civilian sectors. Through its participation, the Navy reaffirms its commitment to innovation, professional development and engineering excellence, while strengthening the technological capabilities required for national development.
