Four days ago, Lahore watched Pakistan fold for 110 and Sri Lanka stroll home with 31.5 overs to spare. It was a jarring sight for a side that had already won its way into the final by taking the first three games of the tri-series.
Now the same two teams meet again at the Gaddafi Stadium, and the question is which Pakistan turns up. Will it be the one whose pace trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf squeezed England to 241, or the one whose top three cannot buy a run?
Sri Lanka comes on stellar form of Pavan Rathnayake, who has 350 runs at 116.67. Sri Lanka have won six of their eight ODIs in Lahore
Sri Lanka have more dangerous batting line up with Pavan Rathnayake averaging 116.67 and a 430 chase against England already in the bank.
Pakistan's bowlers are good enough to dent that, as they did in the opener, but their top three have not given them a platform, and Tuesday showed how quickly that can unravel.
Sri Lanka also have a strong record at this ground and an eight-wicket win over the hosts four days ago. Pakistan can still take it if Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf strike early.
