Rishabh Pant reached out to Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami seeking help to acquire land in the state. The cricketer personally tweeted his grievance late on Friday night in an honest attempt to draw the CM's attention to the matter.
Pant expressed his desire to shift his base to Uttarakhand from Delhi and build his first home there, which is also his native state. The post was made by Pant at 12:46 AM, where he categorically mentioned that he has been looking for land for the past three years, but all his efforts have turned futile. Although the language used by the cricketer was not formal, but his message of seeking assistance in land acquisition was clearly conveyed.
In his second tweet at 12:56 AM, the wicketkeeper-batter added that he isn't asking land as a gift from the government and is ready to pay for it at the existing rate.

CM Dhami took note of the cricketer's request and responded to his tweets on Saturday morning at 8:54 AM. He communicated that the concerned official has been informed about the matter, who will get in touch with the cricketer and ensure all possible cooperation in accordance with the rules.
Pant is currently in Sri Lanka with the Indian team for the two-match Test series, starting from August 15.
