Model Rozanne Diaz has urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and speculation following the sudden death of well-known Sri Lankan model, actress and pageant trainer Chulpadmendra Kumarapathirana at the age of 46.
Kumarapathirana had successfully hosted a pageant event at Waters Edge the previous evening and remained actively involved in the industry until her sudden death.
Diaz said Kumarapathirana’s sudden death was an extremely painful moment for her family, loved ones, friends and those who worked closely with her.
She urged the public not to spread false or unverified information, avoid speculation that could interfere with investigations, refrain from prematurely blaming anyone, wait for the findings of official investigations and respect the privacy of the grieving family. (Newswire)
