Dhaka: SalamAir has signed a distribution agreement with travel technology provider Amadeus as the Omani low-cost carrier pushes ahead with its global expansion.

Under the deal, travel sellers connected to the Amadeus Travel Platform will be able to access the airline's fares and services. The airline said this arrangement will give it greater visibility and wider market reach.

The agreement forms part of SalamAir's broader strategy to strengthen its international presence and diversify its sales channels. It also aims to improve accessibility for travelers in key global markets and help the carrier reach new customer segments as travel demand grows across its expanding network.

SalamAir Chief Commercial Officer Steven Allen said the agreement is an important step in supporting the airline's continued growth. He added that working with one of the leading travel technology providers will strengthen its presence in international markets and support its vision of offering affordable travel to more passengers worldwide.

Maher Koubaa, Executive Vice President of Travel Unit and Managing Director for EMEA at Amadeus, said the growing relationship highlights the company's commitment to the low-cost carrier segment. He noted that the deal shows how Amadeus' solutions help such airlines scale and compete globally.
