SLASSCOM will lead its GT&I Market Access – Africa Delegation to Nairobi, Kenya, on 25 September, creating opportunities for Sri Lankan technology companies to connect with potential clients, partners and key business organisations in Kenya and explore pathways into the wider East African market.

Organised in collaboration with the Sri Lankan High Commission in Kenya, the delegation aims to strengthen Sri Lanka–Kenya business and technology ties through direct market engagement and strategic business meetings.

Six SLASSCOM member companies will participate in the delegation: NCINGA, Gift O, hSenidBiz, MillenniumIT ESP, Sterling BPO Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and Global Frontiers.

As part of the programme, participating companies will have the opportunity to engage with William Kabogo Gitau, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, Kenya, as well as key Kenyan organisations and potential business partners, including the Kenya Investment Authority, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), LASER Infrastructure & Technology Solutions (LITES) Ltd, and Technology Service Providers of Kenya.

Sampath Jayasundara, Chairperson, SLASSCOM said, “Africa presents an important growth opportunity for Sri Lanka’s knowledge and innovation industry, with Kenya offering a strong gateway into the wider region. This delegation is about moving beyond market exploration and creating the right connections for Sri Lankan companies to build real commercial partnerships.”

Ruvini De Silva, Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya said, “Kenya continues to experience significant economic and digital development. Initiatives such as this delegation can play an important role in connecting businesses, building confidence and creating new avenues for collaboration between our countries.”
