On October 15, Mr. TAKAGI Kei, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Hon. Sunil Handunneththi, Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
During the meeting, State Minister TAKAGI welcomed Minister Handunneththi’s visit to Japan, and both sides recognized the importance of cooperation toward the realization of the Conceptual Roadmap on “Building an Export-Oriented Industrial Corridor” and improving the business environment.
They also exchanged views on industrial cooperation, including in the minerals sector, and confirmed that Japan and Sri Lanka would continue to work closely together going forward.
